Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed) Oversee the entire spare parts warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing spare parts and equipment.
Implement and maintain an efficient inventory management system to track stock levels, reorder points, and usage.
Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and technicians to determine spare part needs and forecast requirements.
Initiate and manage the procurement process, including placing orders, negotiating with suppliers, and monitoring deliveries.
Optimize the layout of the spare parts warehouse for easy access and retrieval of items.
Implement a systematic shelving and labeling system to enhance organization.
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure the warehouse layout is conducive to efficient operations.
Supervise the issuance of spare parts and equipment to maintenance technicians based on work orders and requisitions.
Implement control measures to ensure accurate recording of transactions and prevent discrepancies.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of spare part transactions, including receipts, issuances, returns, and adjustments.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, usage patterns, and trends.
Provide documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Work closely with maintenance supervisors and technicians to understand upcoming maintenance schedules and equipment needs.
Facilitate effective communication to ensure that spare parts are available in a timely manner.
Establish and enforce quality control procedures for incoming spare parts.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all spare parts meet safety and quality standards.
Address any quality issues promptly and collaborate with suppliers to resolve them.
Implement security measures to prevent theft or unauthorized access to the spare parts warehouse.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the storage and handling of spare parts.
Assist in budget planning for spare parts and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent:
A minimum educational requirement is typically a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
Preference will be given to those who are bilingual.

Organizational Skills:
Ability to organize and maintain an efficient spare parts warehouse, including proper shelving, labeling, and inventory control.
Strong attention to detail to accurately record transactions, manage inventory levels, and ensure the quality of spare parts.
