Quality Control Assistant Manager
Summary:
Directly manage the Quality Control Department by supervising all employees in the department.
Carry out daily requirements in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Must cooperate with other departments in order to carry out the plan and satisfy customer requirements.
Ensure all documents are accurate and meet company policies.

Develops and implements program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
Feedback quality problems to the production team and find a solution to improve quality level.
Ensure the effective and efficient operation of team to provide quality improvement leadership.
Execute and implement quality activities in compliance with the company goal.
Conduct customer audit meetings and follow up on improvement activities.
Attend vehicle customer audit meetings.
Participate in forecasting and forward planning activities.
Drive continuous improvement activities (Process, Facilities, Man, and Materials) Build and maintain good working relationships with QC department, other departments, and customers.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures in the plant.
Lead investigations for product complaints.
Develop countermeasures to prevent non conformance issues.
Create, organize and maintain QC/QA documentation.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control Knowledge of Quality Programs Dimensional specifications of parts for the customer Basic knowledge of TS/ISO 3 - 7 years experience working in Quality Control (Automotive Industry a plus) Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Work is performed within Dongwon Facilities Work may require travel to customer sites May be required to lift items weighing up to 5 - 10 pounds May be required to push or pull items weighing up to 20-30 pounds Must be able to stand for a long period of time Must be able to do some bending and stretching when needed Equipment & Tools utilized Computers - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email.
