The Quality Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), compliance to ISO 9001:
2015/IATF 16949:
2016, meeting all customer quality requirements and all other regulatory compliance requirements.
The Quality Systems Analyst must work closely with HL Mando Team Members to ensure that all aspects of the QMS are understood, implemented and maintained.
The required responsibility and qualifications are described below.
General Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
Maintains the Quality Management System to ISO 9001:
2015 and IATF:
2016 requirements.
Performs training for G-BPMS navigation, QMS overview for respective location (new Team Member orientation, etc.
).
Assures proper maintenance of Quality records.
Processes Document Change Notifications (DCNs).
Performs internal audits with the objective of identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions (QMS/Dock/Process).
Conducts all follow-ups on Corrective Actions from Internal/External Audit findings.
Attends and participates in Quality Market meetings.
Participates during third party Internal/External audits.
Assists other departments with investigations to identify the root cause for internal and external quality audit non-conformances with focus on permanent corrective actions.
Ensures Quality Management System processes are followed and the Quality Policy is adhered to through HL Mando facilities.
Participates in continuous improvement activities designed to reduce poor quality.
Review required PPAP documentation during 4M changes for accuracy.
Cross-functional Quality support as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of BA/BS degree in a related field of study (Engineering, Business, Management, etc.
) or equivalent experience is required.
2-3 years of experience in a high volume-manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified ISO 9001:
2015 and IATF 16949:
2016 Internal Auditor.
Technical Competencies:
Proficiency with office equipment and computer programs such as Windows, Outlook Express, Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.
Understanding of Quality functions such as customer service, metallurgy and metrology.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:
2015 and IATF 16949:
2016, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, LPA's & Quality Management Systems.
Non-Technical Competencies:
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening, persuasive, influential) Interpersonal skills (relationship building, teamwork, conflict resolution); counseling and consultation skills.
Must be a self-starter who takes initiative in finding solutions to difficult and unique problems/opportunities.
Performance skills (accuracy with detail, planning and organizing, efficiency) Must have strong presentation/delivery skills; ability to moderate small to large groups.
Supervisory Responsibility:
No supervisory responsibility.
